Adelphi Alumni
June 2024
Dear Friend,

As the only child of academically mobile parents, I grew up in conference rooms around the globe. I had just turned 18 when I arrived on Adelphi's bucolic campus. A memorable day spent with Dean Richard Garner, PhD, of the Honors College reaffirmed my commitment to attend Adelphi. During that visit, the faculty took the time to listen to me as an adult, showing a true investment in my success. It felt like Adelphi was choosing me as much as I was choosing it.

During my time at Adelphi, I sought to find my own ground and immerse myself in the campus community. I lived on campus and participated in the Works-in-Process film club and briefly worked on The Delphian. Today, I am the executive director of University Alliance Ruhr, a U.S. not-for-profit consortium of the three largest public universities in Germany's Ruhr region.

I joined the Adelphi University Alumni Advisory Council (AUAAC) to give back to a community that has had such a profound impact on my personal and professional development. Serving on the council allows me to contribute to the continued growth and success of the University, support current students and help foster a strong alumni network. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my experiences and connections to benefit Adelphi and our community.

I'm excited to introduce you to my fellow AUAAC members below and I hope you'll enjoy reading this month's alumni newsletter.

Go, Panthers!
