Dear Derick,
What a great time to be a Panther!
Once again this year, Adelphi University is ranked as the top private university on Long Island by The Wall Street Journal. This incredible achievement reflects not only the University's excellence in transforming students’ lives but also the strength and successes of our entire alumni community—alumni like you who play an essential role in shaping Adelphi's legacy.
As we celebrate this honor, we also look ahead to an exciting new chapter.
On September 21, at our annual President’s Gala, we officially launch The Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact, our most ambitious fundraising initiative ever. This campaign is a bold investment in Adelphi’s future and represents our commitment to making an Adelphi
education accessible to all, advancing academic excellence and fostering an environment where every student can thrive.
But the Momentum Campaign is more than just fundraising—it’s about building pride and strengthening connections across our alumni network. For alumni like you, it’s an opportunity to reflect on Adelphi’s impact on your life and help ensure that future generations will benefit from the same transformative experience.
The campaign has already started having an impact on our community. I invite you to hear from students MacKenzie Pina, Victoria Rodriguez and Joe
Sawma in videos about how Adelphi has propelled them forward.
I hope to see you back on campus for our eighth annual Spirit Weekend festivities
(September 27 to September 29), a time to reconnect, celebrate and show your Panther pride.
Thank you for your continued support of your alma mater. Together, we can and will make an extraordinary impact.
With Panther pride,
Thomas A. Kline, EdD Vice President of University Advancement and External Relations
