Celebrating the Joy of Being Together

Greetings Panthers,

What an incredible Spirit Weekend we had! Thank you to the more than 2,800 alumni, family and friends who returned to campus to enjoy the festivities.

I also would like to express my gratitude to the 1,400 alumni who participated in our recent alumni survey. We will be sharing more details soon, but here are some initial takeaways:

98% agreed or strongly agreed with the statement: “I am proud to be an Adelphi graduate.”
86% indicated their Adelphi education played a foundational role in their career and financial success.
Alumni describe Adelphi as: student-centered, well-established, supportive, reputable, diverse and high quality.
29% of alumni would like invitations to more alumni activities.

This feedback has already begun to inform our work (there will be more alumni events coming your way!).

Finally, in case you missed it, I would like to re-share that Adelphi soared in recent rankings. In addition to surging 19 points in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of best national universities, Adelphi is now the top-ranked private University on Long Island according to both the Wall Street Journal and Forbes. These rankings shine a spotlight on the value of an Adelphi education, our relentless focus on the success of our students and our strong alumni network.
