Scholars & Artists of Adelphi University
Fall 2023
Message From the Provost

Recognizing that today’s young people represent the future of our society, it’s a worthwhile effort to understand the many dimensions of their generation. Adelphi’s faculty members are studying topics that expand our perspective on Generation Z, from their politics and mental health concerns to the challenges of the world they’re growing up in.

I hope you gain new insights into Gen Z in this edition of Scholars and Artists of Adelphi University, while also enjoying a look at an exhibition of paintings of a faculty member’s childhood home—captured so realistically, they truly deceive the eye.

Sincerely,
Christopher Storm, PhD
Provost and Executive Vice President
