Dear Friend,
Our Panther pride is running high this month—and for good reason. Over the past few weeks, we’ve had so much to celebrate: our newest alumni, our incredible student-athletes and coaches, and the entire Adelphi community for wrapping up a truly remarkable year.
I had the privilege of attending Adelphi’s 129th Commencement on May 20, and it was such a joyful, meaningful day. In two back-to-back ceremonies, we honored the Class of 2025—surrounded by proud families, supportive faculty and staff, and inspiring speakers. These newest grads—now fellow members of our alumni family—are ready to go out and do big things. We also awarded 56 doctoral degrees in a special hooding ceremony on campus.
Just this week, Adelphi made national headlines again—this time on the field. For the second year in a row, our men’s lacrosse team won the NCAA Division II National Championship! Our women’s team had an amazing season, too—earning a Northeast-10 Conference title and finishing as national runner-up, with three All-Americans on the roster. I share more below—we couldn’t be prouder!
It’s a great season to be a Panther. I hope you’re soaking up the spring sunshine, staying connected, and feeling as proud as I do to be part of this community. I can’t wait to see you on campus or at an upcoming event very soon.
