Dear Friend,
It’s an honor to introduce myself as the new chair of the Adelphi University Alumni Advisory Council. I earned my BA in Sociology with a minor in political science in 2008 and returned to Adelphi for my MBA in 2019. As a student, I competed as a sprinter, hurdler and triple jumper on the track and field team and found lifelong sisterhood through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Today, I serve as the New York regional sales manager for RR Donnelley, and outside of work, you’ll often find me training as a triathlete or snowboarding.
Adelphi has shaped so much of who I am, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to carry that Panther pride forward in this role. I’d like to congratulate all of the new members of the Alumni Advisory Council. Alongside all my fellow members, and with your support, we continue to keep our network vibrant and strong.
It’s an exciting time for our Adelphi community: The University just welcomed the first-year Class of 2029, launched a presidential search and is in the midst of the Momentum Campaign, which has already raised $87 million toward a $100 million goal. Together, these milestones reflect the strength of our community, and there’s no better moment to reconnect with Adelphi.
We are getting ready to host the entire Panther family for Spirit Weekend, October 3–5. I’m especially looking forward to the Alumni Brunch to honor this year’s Spirit Award recipients. I hope you can plan to join us for an exciting weekend!
