November 2024

Dear Friend,

As the son of a World War II veteran and the nephew of the first documented triple amputee of that war, I’ve always felt a deep connection to our military community. Veterans and their families make extraordinary sacrifices to uphold the freedoms we cherish, and we owe them our unending gratitude.

In my role at L’Oréal, I’ve had the privilege of leading initiatives that support veterans, including hosting our annual Have a Beautiful Day event. Last week on Veterans Day, it was especially meaningful to join Paralyzed Veterans of America for a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Standing on that sacred ground was a powerful reminder of the price of freedom and the incredible dedication of those who serve. Read more about my personal reflection on this year’s experiences.

Adelphi’s veteran community is an integral part of our campus, and their contributions enrich the fabric of our University. As we honor them on Veterans Day, I encourage you to reflect on their service and, if you can, thank a veteran in your life.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to express my gratitude to you, our alumni, for the many ways you continue to support the Adelphi students and community. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and joyful holiday filled with gratitude and connection.

With Panther pride,

Nicholas K. Iadevaio Jr., MBA ’00
