Adelphi University New York
From My Desk President Christine M. Riordan

Dear Friend,

As we take in the news from yesterday's elections, Adelphi presses on with one of its most critical missions: researching topics that impact communities around the globe. In this year’s Academic & Creative Research Magazine, our distinguished faculty members look closely at the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the many industries that it changed forever. Inside, you will uncover the broad scope of groundbreaking inquiries, academic achievements, student mentorship and grants that fuel opportunities for discovery throughout our University.

I’m also proud to share more news this month of student success and equity at Adelphi. The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse 2025 Best Colleges in the U.S. rankings elevated Adelphi by 30 spots this year due to our exceptional student outcomes. Insight Into Diversity recognized Adelphi with its seventh consecutive Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award for new equity-based initiatives and growing campus diversity. We debut the University’s first admissions video in Spanish to ensure critical information reaches prospective students and families from Spanish-speaking communities. And we invite you to learn more about our Expect Extraordinary messaging campaign that explains the unique features, value and life-changing impact of an Adelphi education.

As we look forward to the last few weeks of the semester and the upcoming holiday season, I’m grateful for everyone at Adelphi who is working hard to make a difference in our students' lives. Together, we continue to build a promising future.

All the best,
