Counting Success: Accounting Networking Event Sets All-Time Attendance Record
The first two months of the fall semester represent the height of the recruiting season for CPA firms. On September 28, approximately 90 students, including accounting, finance and computer science majors, met with professionals from 18 firms at designated tables, as well as representatives of other firms, who circulated around the room. More than half of the 80 professionals participating in this event were Adelphi alumni, who were paying it forward by assisting in recruiting our students to their firms.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedicated student officers of the Accounting Society: Alex Benincasa, Miguel Bonilla, Heather Cattani, Angela Lignelli, Robert Mallamo, Alma Lorena Monreal Munoz and Jacklyn Nunziata.
