News From Adelphi’s Robert B. Willumstad School of Business

Fall 2026

Greetings From the Willumstad School of Business!

While summer on Long Island is hard to beat, there is nothing quite like the energy of a new fall semester. Welcoming back our returning students and faculty—alongside the faces of our incoming class—never fails to inspire me as we kick off another academic year.

In this issue of Business@Adelphi, we highlight Adelphi’s personalized approach to connecting students with high-impact internships and recap an inspiring lecture on corporate social responsibility from two sports industry legends.

I’m also proud to share that The Princeton Review just named us to their Best Business Schools for 2027, with Adelphi University named among the Best On-Campus MBA Programs. This is a meaningful recognition of the strength of a business education from Adelphi.

As you likely know, we recently welcomed our new president, Michael Balboni ’81, JD, who has made it clear that while academic excellence comes first, college ought to be fun, too! With that spirit in mind, I encourage you to check out our upcoming campus events, including our Business School Welcome Social and our fun-filled Spirit Weekend.

Here’s to a productive, meaningful and enjoyable fall semester ahead!

Warm regards,
