Dear Friend,
Spring is one of my favorite times at Adelphi. As a double alumna and Adelphi’s director of external relations and special events, this season is especially meaningful to me because I love the many ways we bring our community together—from the Writers & Readers Festival (April 15–17) and Giving Day (April 22) to one of my personal favorites, the Women’s Leadership Conference (next Saturday, March 28).
Now in its ninth year, the Women’s Leadership Conference continues to grow as a space for connection, learning and inspiration. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with committed colleagues, alumni and friends of Adelphi who generously share their time and expertise to help shape this event.
The conference brings together inspiring keynote speakers, engaging breakout sessions and thoughtful roundtable discussions—all designed to spark ideas and support one another’s leadership journeys. Importantly, students attend free of charge so they are able to access the insights, resources and connections that are so important for a successful career launch.
Later this spring, Adelphi will also celebrate the creativity and discovery of our students at the annual Scholarship and Creative Works Conference, where students present their research, performances and creative projects to the campus community. All are welcome to attend and check out some of their extraordinary work.
Among these top highlights of the spring and other exciting things happening at Adelphi, I hope you will find an opportunity to join us. It’s always great to catch up with fellow Panthers.

Third Annual Writers & Readers Festival
April 16–17 | Garden City Campus
Our annual literary celebration founded by alumna and novelist Alice Hoffman ’73, ’02 (Hon.), is a multiday festival that will welcome an extraordinary lineup of literary voices, including Jodi Picoult, Susan Lucci, Adriana Trigiani and Jessica Knoll.
